The state of Alaska has sponsored an aerial wolf shooting scheme and oblivious to the Alaskan people's opposition to the killings, Governor Murkowsi goes with hunting interests. Now, you may ask what is aerial wolf shooting ? Aerial wolf shooting is the cruel practice of running the wolves until they are exhausted and they are then shot from helicopters. The reason for this is greed! Apparently they want more hunters to kill the moose for sport instead of the wolves eating them to survive, besides the fact that wolves eat the sick and the elderly which are not the best picks for hunting. yes i love wolves that's sick i say hunt the hunters. also save the lemurs and gorillas in aftrica and madagascar. lemurs aren't wildy know because their population is dwindling.
Wolves are beautiful creatures, and though they can't speak in words, their body-language and great curiosity should be enough for people to see their intelligence. Years ago, humans used wolves, bred them into dogs for their use. Dog is apparently 'Mans best friend' And though Wolves aren't tamed, they still deserve such a title being the true descendants of dogs.
Why is there such hate for wolves? Is it all the faery tales of a big bad wolf gobbling up people? Are hunter's minds so Young and stupid That these fantasy tales hold true?
You don't have to be human to be humane, and not all humans are humane, let wolves live a good life, a fun life. Not just be tortured for the fun and satisfaction of others.

I have rescued and lived with three wolf dogs, they are beautiful, shy, loving creatures that mate for life. I have long been a supporter of Defenders of Wildlife that had educated me on the disgusting habit of aerial gunning in Alaska, for years I have tried to dissuade all who want to go there and have written letters and signed petitions to stop this horrendous practice that exists only because it is fueled by the almighty dollar. For the most part the Alaskan people are very much against it. We have been slaughtering these animals since the beginning of civilization, mostly out of fear and myths, and since the "white man" populated the United States we have slaughtered millions and brought them to the brink of extinction. Studies show that they are a crucial part of our environment, I fear some will only learn of their true value once they are gone and it is too late. Is there any hope for these wonderful creatures...

Treat the wolves with respect. Save them, love them as a dog. Therefore you will not be harmed. I grew up around half breads, for 7 years of my life. The wolf being dominate over the huskie. Kotzebue,AK Huskies 4LIFE with the SPIRIT, and STRENGTH of a WOLF.

Yes I Too Love Wolves I Think they are fascinating and one of the most beautiful wild Dogs in the world the second would be the Australian Dingo, in Australia they hunt some of the Wild Dingos the same way they are Hunting Wolves in Alaska, I'm a Hunter and even I think its pretty cruel how this Wolves are being Killed, so do most of the Aboriginal and the Maori people that taught ME and my FATHER- their ways of life and how to hunt, Live Off the Sea and the land, But I only ever Took what I need to Survive and have never killed and animal for the sake of it, If I kill an Animal it is for food for me, my family, and even my dogs, also the Aboriginal's and the Maori's I am friends with would not be happy with me if I killed more animals than was needed for myself and my family.
THE WOLVES IN ALASKA TRULY DO DESERVE TO LIVE, AND IN THEIR OWN HABITAT. SO SAVE THE WOLVES FROM GREEDY HUNTERS WHO WANT THE WOLVES OUT OF THE WAY SO THEY CAN HUNT THE BUFFALO OR MOOSE THAT WOLVES HUNT TO SURVIVE,- WHEN IN FACT WOLVES ONLY PICK OF THE OLD ANMIALS THAT ARE SLOW OR SICK AND THE VERY YOUNG ANIMALS THAT SOME TIME STRAY AWAY FROM THE REST OF THE HERD.
ALSO SAVE THE AUSTRALIAN DINGO FROM HUNTERS AND HELP PROMOTE AWARENESS TO TOURIST'S NOT TO FEED OR TRY AND PAT THE WILD DINGO'S IN AUSTRLIA AND MOST OF ALL NEVER LEAVE LITTLE CHLIDREN UNATTENDED WHEN DINGO'S ARE AROUND
